Cassation Court hears appeals of 241 MBs against terrorism charges

The Court of Cassation، today Monday، is set to hear the appeals of 241members of the Muslim Brotherhood outlawed group against the ruling of enlisting them on Egypt’s terrorist list for five years.
The Cairo Criminal Court ordered that the 241 defendants be added to the list for a five-year period on May 22.

They are charged with forming a terrorist group، carrying out multiple terrorist operations in Sinai، including the assassination of members of the police and military and attacking security checkpoints.

They are also accused of forming 43 terror cells and committing 63 terrorist operations in collaboration with other 314 people of the militant group.
