Egyptian singer-actress، Mai Kassab announced her third pregnancy with her husband، popular singer، Mohammed Salah، also known as Ouka.
She revealed in a press remark that the reason behind her overweight at the launch party of her last album “Ana lessa Hena” (I’m still here) was that she is eight months pregnant.
"I was keen not to announce my pregnancy as I did with my second pregnancy، but the launch party revealed it،" she added.
The duo tied the knot in 2015، and became parents for the first time، to a daughter they named، Farida، in December 2016، and then later on welcomed in 2019 their second child، a daughter they named Dalida.
In this new album، she cooperated with ‘The Voice season 1’ contestant، singer Farid Ghannam in a duet song “Bebasata” (simply).
The singer’s husband، folklore singer، Mohammed Salah، also known as Ouka had also worked on the album، where he distributed some of the album’s songs.
“Ana lessa Hena” contains 10 songs.
Noteworthy، Mai Kassab got her start in music as part of a musical duet with the Syrian musician Magd Al Kassem.
Their band was called “Ghamid Eneyk” and released its first album “Hagga Tiksif” in 2005.
In 2007، the band released another album called “Ahla al Kalam.”
Mai’s first television role came in 2006 when she acted alongside the Ahmed Al Fishawi in a comedy television series titles “Tamir wa Shawqiyah.”
Thereafter، Mai appeared in a number of film roles، the best known of which are “Cabareih” “Al Farah،” and “Bobos.”
