Mauricio Pochettino is the favourite to replace Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus after the club confirmed the Italian coach will leave at the end of the season، as the Daily Mail said.
The 51-year-old Italian coach has won five Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia four times during his five years in charge of the Turin-based side، as well as finishing runners-up in the Champions League in 2015 and 2017.
The club released a statement to confirm the news، which read: 'Massimiliano Allegri will not be on the Juventus bench for the 2019-20 season. The coach and the president، Andrea Agnelli، will meet the media together at tomorrow's press conference - Saturday 18 May، at 2pm in the press conference hall of Allianz Stadium.' Allegri was widely expected to leave despite leading the Old Lady to their eighth consecutive league title with six games to spare.
Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola are among those who could replace Allegri with Pochettino the favourite to take over at the Allianz Stadium.
Italian media reported that the club had made contact with the Tottenham boss last week، with the Argentine coach reportedly demanding an enormous £17million-per-year contract، according to last Saturday's Corriere dello Sport.
Pochettino himself has made it clear that he is seriously considering leaving Tottenham at the end of the campaign if they don't attempt to build on their first major European cup final appearance.
