Al Ahly has secured their place in the CAF Champions League next season following a tough 2-0 victory against ENPPI on Thursday.
Al Ahly beat Enppi in the Egyptian Premier League 2-0 to cement its position at the top of the league table with 73 points.
Hussein El-Shahat sscored the first goal for the Reds and Marwan Mohsen have scored the second goal.
The point tally means that they are guaranteed a top two place alongside one of Zamalek and Pyramids FC، as the latter have only two games left to play.
The Pyramids FC currently has 66 points from 32 games، making the best point tally they can reach is 72، in case they beat Nogoom FC and Haras El-Hodood.
This means that they are officially out of the title race and so close to losing the second league spot as Zamalek need only seven points from their remaining five games to return to the CAF Champions League.
Zamalek will face Entag El-Harby، Ismaily، Haras El-Hodood، El-Gouna، and Al Ahly in their remaining games، as they are currently seven points behind leaders Al Ahly، who have played two games more.
On the other hand، the Reds’ last three games will be against Ismaily، Arab Contractors، and Zamalek، with seven points enough for the title holders to win their 41st league title.
