Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli، held a meeting Sunday with Li Jie، Vice President of Huawei Technologies Co. and Robinson Cao، the company’s Regional head in North Africa، in the presence of Vincent Sun، the CEO of Huawei Egypt and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat.
During the meeting، the Prime Minister praised the high level of cooperation between Egypt and China، to which President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi pays great attention in order to benefit from the development experiences there.
The prime minister also called on Huawei officials to make use of the positive climate of cooperation and boost its investments in Egypt، especially in the technology of smart cities field.
For his part، Huawei's vice president stressed the company's growing interest in the Egyptian market، noting the company’s keenness to flexibly meet the Egyptians needs and contribute as best as possible to the development of Egypt.
He pointed out to the company's interest in training youth in order to create new generation of trained and qualified cadres around the world، stressing Huawei's readiness to increase its cooperation to support the efforts of the government and the private sector in all areas of technological development.
