Algerian FM calls for tripartite meeting with Egypt، Tunisia

Algerian Foreign Minister، Sabri Boukadoum، called for a tripartite meeting، as soon as possible، of the foreign ministers of Algeria، Tunisia and Egypt to discuss ways to overcome the current crisis in Libya.

A statement by the Algerian Foreign Ministry said Thursday that Boukadoum held talks with his counterparts Sameh Shoukry and Khamis Jahnawi as well as the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative in Libya، Ghassan Salama.

During the meeting، Boukadoum proposed an emergency meeting to discuss the current situation in Libya.

The Algerian minister urged the rapid unification of efforts and the use of the relations and influence enjoyed by the neighboring countries in the Libyan parties to work to stop the fighting and the weighting of dialogue as the only way that will ensure the unity of the Libyan people and maintain its institutions and fortify the decision of the Libyan people from foreign interference.
