Tourism Minister، Dr. Rania Al-Mashat honored yesterday، Sunday Renowned Egyptian Archaeologist، Zahi Hawas on his ultimate efforts to promote Egyptian tourism abroad، in the presence of Secretary-General of The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)، Zurab Pololikashvili.
This came during the dinner parquet organized by Tourism Ministry at Salah Al-Din Al Ayouby Citadel for the Arab tourism Ministers، who take part in The 45th meeting of UNWTO commission for the Middle East، hosted in Cairo، under the auspices of Egypt’s Prime Minsiter، Moustafa Madbouly.
Hawas has reviewed his most significant discoveries، and the new discoveries that will be uncovered soon in valley of the monkeys in Luxor. Moreover، he stressed the importance of the monuments in increasing tourism in Egypt.
Monuments minister، Khaled Al-Anany، Environment Minister، Yasmine Fouad، Aswan Governor، Maj. General Magdy Hegazy، Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority، Eng. Ahmed Youssef، in addition to a number of Ambassadors attended the dinner banquet.
