Migration Minister، Nabila Makram met with New Zealand's Minister of Defense Ron Mark، during her current visit to New Zealand to console the families of Egyptian martyrs who were victims of the Christchurch terror attack.
She conveyed to him Egypt`s support to New Zealand role to face terrorism، Makram added that the New Zealand society is friendly and she felt the integration of the Egyptians during a previous visit to the city of Auckland، where she witnessed the love and respect in dealing with all nationalities and audiences in general. Noteworthy، Immigration Minister Dr. Nabila Makram Abdul Shaheed visited the families of the Egyptian martyrs in New Zealand terrorist attack and the wounded people today، Thursday.
Makram confirmed that her travel to New Zealand is necessary to stand by the Egyptian citizens and their families. Four Egyptian families have lost their relatives، so she has to travel to offer condolences and support them، the minister said.
She added that Egypt will never forget its citizens abroad.
Makram will hold a meeting with members of the Egyptian community there.
