Egypt's Minister of Migration، Nabila Makram Abdul Shaheed، headed to New Zealand on Tuesday evening to visit the families of the Egyptian martyrs in New Zealand terrorist attack and visit the wounded as well as holding a meeting with members of the Egyptian community there.
Makram confirmed that her travel to New Zealand is necessary to stand by the Egyptian citizens and their families. Four Egyptian families have lost their relatives، so she has to travel to offer condolences and support them، the minister said.
She added that Egypt will never forget its citizens abroad.
Greg Lewis، Ambassador of New Zealand in Cairo، conveyed a message of condolence and sympathy to all those affected by the attack. "We offer our condolences to all the victims of the Egyptians، the Arabs، their families، and their communities،" he said.
