Hebrew-language media revealed That Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had in recent years shares in Germany's" ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems" group، specialized in manufacturing "Dolphin" submarines. This group’s name is included in "Case 3000" that involves alleged corruption.
According to Israel's Channel 13 New، Israel's public prosecution is currently investigating the relationship between Netanyahu’s shares through a company that provides services to the German group، owned by one of his relatives called Natan Milikovsky، and the submarines case. the channel reported that there is a possibility of Netanyahu’s involvement in the case that he was acquitted in، while Netanyahu replied saying that his relationship with the company ended years ago.
According to several reports، the Iranian Foreign Investment Company (IFIC)، has about 5% of the shares of the German group itself. The Israeli media have repeatedly warned of the risk of this matter as secret information on the most strategic Israeli weapon "the submarines" could be known to Tehran.
The "blue-white" party، Netanyahu's biggest rival، launched a sharp attack against him following the leaking of this news and issued a statement on Thursday saying that the submarines case "is far from reaching its end، the party assured that the fact that Netanyahu has direct financial interests in the most sensitive case for Israeli security "is beyond all limits، adding that The Israeli people have the right to get a response on the reasons why close relatives of Netanyahu got millions of Euros commissions، in exchange for a military deal that considered as the most sensitive in the history of Israel..
"case 3000" is linked to a major commission scandal that erupted in 2016 following the leaking of the relationship between David Shimron، Netanyahu's private lawyer، and businessman Mickey Ganor، the agent of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems in Israel، where it was revealed that Shimron was his legal representative.
Netanyahu was investigated over this case. But in 2017 and after reviewing the opinion of Attorney General Avihai Mandelblit، State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan decided that the evidence collected on this matter raises sufficient doubts that there are breaches of the law on case 3000 and there is a high probability of corruption suspicion. but after that، Netanyahu was completely out of the case.
In 2018، the Israeli police recommended the trial of those involved in the case، including David Shimron، Netanyahu's lawyer، General Eliezer Marom، former commander of the Israeli navy، David Bar-Yosef، former deputy head of the National Security Council; and David Soren، former manager of Netanyahu's office.
The leaking of the new information means that the Israeli prime minister، who is expected to face a lengthy investigation that may result in his imprisonment on other corruption cases، says that the war he is waging against Iran is a fake war in which he seeks private interests، while he does not mind To make financial profits through a company that has significant cooperation with the government in Tehran.
