Italian Prime Minister، Giuseppe Conte، said Tuesday he excludes a military existence for his troops in Libya، according to Italian News Agency (AKI).
Conte pointed out that Palermo meeting has contributed in regaining Italy role in Libya.
“The road map has already set up…We should keep going on supporting efforts of United Nations and following up dialogue with all parties in Libya،” Conte said.
Noteworthy، head of Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj met with Conte on the sidelines of the Arab- European summit، in Sharm El-Shiekh on Monday، according to The Libya Observer news website.
Al-Sarraj has called for a more unified regional and international position towards the Libyan crisis and to stop the negative interference of some countries that are fueling the conflict and threatening stability in Libya.
