The polls in Israel periodically give Likud party a major advantage in winning Knesset elections scheduled on April 9، therefore it is possible to say that the Israeli voter intends to support the right for the coming years، despite the political and financial corruption that hit the political body under the government of Benjamin Netanyahu.
Well، Over the past few weeks، political observers and analysts in Israel frequently raised a question on the date of the decision of Attorney General Avihai Mendelblet، relating to submitting an official indictment against Netanyahu in the corruption cases he involved in as the police and then the prosecution recommended Netanyahu to be tried over these cases.
From the point of view of the Israeli observers، The importance of the date of the decision is represented in whether it will be issued before or after the elections، or even after the results. Hence، Mendelblet has become the most important figure now، with the impression that he is the only one who has the power to decide، and will determine the fate of Netanyahu and the Likud party.
However، the matter is paradoxical as the focus should have been on the reasons why Netanyahu and his party are at the top of opinion polls، at a time when there is no longer any doubt that he is a corrupt political figure leading a corrupt coalition، rather than arguing about the date of the attorney general's decision.
The focus on the timing issue، not on the political corruption within Netanyahu's coalition، gives the impression that the talk is about an audience has a tendency to accept a corrupt government promised them with security، rather than accepting the idea of the change، advocated by other personalities who face a major crisis in marketing its political agenda and Clash، during every attempt to present new ideas to move the issue of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict، with the extreme right، which penetrated all organs of the State، including its security bodies and media.
Netanyahu has been involved in three cases، the first nicknamed "File 1000" relating to illegal gifts obtained from foreign businessmen، and analysts، in addition to his wife Sarah’s accusations. The second is nicknamed "File 2000"، and related to a suspicious deal with Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Arnon Mozes، besides "File 4000"، which relates to another suspicious deal with the owner of Wala news site and Bezeq، country's largest telecommunications firm. via this deal، Netanyahu and his family got a special coverage and their political opponents were defamed، in exchange for concessions that the owner of the site، businessman Shaul Elovitch، received. Meanwhile، Netanyahu was acquitted in the case known as "File 3000" related to the German submarine deal.
Netanyahu was not the only one involved in corruption cases. Other figures within the ruling coalition were involved in corruption cases، such as Interior Minister Aryeh Deri، head of the ultra-Orthodox Shas party، as In November 2018، Israeli police accused him of fraud، disruption of justice، money laundering and tax violations.

Moreover، Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz was also questioned in April 2018 over the investigation relation to the case of submarines contracted by the Israeli Defense Ministry with the German government.
Investigations into this case were completed in October 2018، and the police recommended indictments against a number of those who are involved in the case، and recommended the trials of David Shimron، Netanyahu's personal lawyer، adviser and cousin،، General Eliezer Marom، former commander of the Israeli navy، former National Security Council deputy head Avriel Bar-Yosef،، and David Sorin، former director of Netanyahu's office.
According to opinion polls، the Israeli voter's tendency to maintain the same corrupt institution raises many question، Including the reasons for the failure of the Israeli Left to influence this voter، and the extent to which the extreme right has succeeded in ringing the bells of radicalism and security risks alleged by enemies who may not exist on the ground.
