CAF acquits referee Mehdi Obaid over Africa Champions League final

Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the acquittal of Algerian referee Mehdi Obeid after hearing sessions.
In November، CAF has excluded Obaid from directing 2018 Clubs World Cup.
CAF has suspended Obaid after the controversial decisions in the first leg of the African Champions League final between Egypt’s Al Ahly and ES Tunis، held at Borg Al Arab Stadium.
Noteworthy، Al Ahly won the first leg in of the CAF Champions League in a controversial game against ES Tunis، which ended with 3-1 victory for the Reds.
Referee bin Obaid has awarded three penalties [two to Al Ahly] and booked both Dhaouadi and Kom، who missed the return leg at Rades.
However، ES Tunis managed to beat Al Ahly 3-1 in a dramatic game، which Ethiopian referee has directed it professionally and very efficiently.
