A delegation from the Arab Parliament، headed by its Vice-President، Dr. Abdulrahman Mohammed is visiting the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to meet with its officials at OIC`s headquarter in Jeddah، Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
The visit comes in the framework of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the Arab Parliament and the OIC on strategic issues important to the Arab and Islamic world.
During the visit، they will discuss the Palestinian issue through coordination between the Palestinian Committee in the Arab Parliament and the Al Quds Committee in OIC.
They will also discuss addressing external interference in the internal affairs of Arab states، working to remove Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terrorism، and supporting development programs and projects in the least developed Arab countries.
The Arab Parliament`s proposal for Memorandum of Understanding with OIC will be studied during the visit to activate joint goals in order to serve the Arab and Islamic nation's issues and interests.
