Kuwaiti Emir not to attend Arab Economic Summit in Beirut

Emir of Kuwait، Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah، has apologized for not attending the Arab Economic Summit, scheduled to be held in Beirut next Sunday.

The summit will be held on January 19،20.

On the other hand، Ambassador Mahmoud Afifi، Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the Arab League، said that the draft agenda includes 27 items dealing with various issues of joint Arab action in the economic and social fields.

The most notably topic in the agenda is "Arab Food Security".

The summit will be held under the title of “Human Development: Investing in Humanity.”

Noteworthy، Michael Aun، Lebanon’s President stated that the next version of the Arab economic summit will be held in Beirut on time.
