CarAdvice said that Jeep Australia has revealed pricing and specs for the 2019 JL Wrangler، available in two body styles and three trim levels Down Under when it arrives in April this year.
The range will kick off with the Sport S، powered by a 209kW347Nm 3.6-litre V6 engine mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Jeep has confirmed a manual is "not in our plans now" for the new Wrangler.
It'll set you back $48،950 (+$9960) before on-road costs in two-door guise، jumping to $53،450 (+$10،460) if you need four doors.
Riding on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels، the entry-level Wrangler gets automatic headlamps، a rear-view camera and parking sensors، push-button start، a leather steering wheel، and a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard. A black soft-top is included out of the box.
Jumping to the Overland boosts the price to $58،450 (+$8460) before on-roads as a two-door or $62،950 (+$8960) in four-door guise، but brings active safety kit like autonomous emergency braking، adaptive cruise control with stopgo، blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert to the table over its entry-level brethren.
Gone are the base 17-inch wheels، replaced with a set of 18s، while the soft-top has been subbed for a body-colour removable hard-top with 'Freedom Panels'. Both head- and taillights are LED units، and the rear parking sensors standard on the Sport S have been bolstered with a set up front.
The base 7.0-inch infotainment system is turfed in favour of an 8.4-inch setup، complete with factory satellite navigation. As with the price leader، power comes from a 3.6L V6 in the Overland.
