Abdel-Moneim al-Taras، chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) received today Rwanda`s ambassador to Cairo Sheikh Saleh Habimana، to discuss areas of joint cooperation.
The meeting comes under the directives of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi، on extending the lines of cooperation between the Commission and African partners، and discuss the process of joint cooperation.
Noteworthy، Abdel-Moneim Al-Taras received 40 ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from African countries in Egypt last Thursday in recognition of Egypt's pioneering role and its 2018 African Union presidency and organizing 2019 AFCON.
Al-Taras stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the African countries، in light of Egypt's strategy of opening up to Africa and the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to open new horizons of cooperation and integration to reach the hopes and aspirations of our African peoples.
"AOI puts all its technical and technological capabilities and expertise to serve the continent with which we have close historical ties”، Al Taras added.
He expressed his hope for constructive cooperation with the African countries in the fields of manufacturing، trade exchange، transfer of expertise، training، maintenance and rehabilitation of human cadres under the umbrella of the African Union.
Noteworthy، Egypt plans to organize “The African Youth Forum” next March in the cultural capital of Africa، Aswan.
