Actress Yasmin Raeis makes throwback to her long hair on Instagram

Actress، Yasmin Raeis shared a throwback photos with her Instagram followers of her long hair before she cut it.
Yasmin appeared in a daring look، wearing a hot short and a grey T-shirt، with simple make-up and hairstyle، which gained the admiration of her fans across the social media networks.

Raeis is currently filming her role actor Mohamed Emam’s film "Lis Bagdad” (The Thief of Baghdad).

Her decision to join the filmmaking industry as an aspiring actress marked a dramatic turn in her life، which paved the way for a more acute turning point when she was unexpectedly selected for her career-defining role in Mohamed Khan's Factory Girl. Yasmin played the role of a working girl who falls under the spell of love، transcending with this experience class difference to finally stand alone in face of a merciless traditional society that is afraid of love. Standing as one of her most indelible performances، Great Khan predicted that the young actress's performance will definitely land her a prestigious Best Actress award.
However، Khan was not 100% accurate in his prediction، as the young actress did not only receive one award but six- so far; the Best Actress Award from Dubai International Film Festival 2013، Best Actress Award from Malmo Arab Film Festival in Sweden، Best Actress Award at the 18th Egyptian National Film Festival، the Best Actress Award at the 41st Egyptian Film Association Festival، Best Actress from Silk Road Film Festival in Dublin، Ireland، and most recently، a Special Mention from the Jury of Feature Film within the International Oriental Film Festival.
Her next big step came with playing the lead role in the film Looking For Oum Kulthum by Iranian director Shirin Nashat. The film presented the character of Oum Kulthum as a woman who was able to break down societal، religious، political and national barriers in her eastern society. Raeis made a stunning red carpet appearance at the 74th Venice International Film Festival، where her film made its world premiere. In 2017، Looking For Oum Kulthum was also selected at the Toronto International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
The film was shot in Morocco and Austria and it is a co-production between German، Austrian، Italian and Moroccan companies.
In 2010، Yasmin made her first foray into acting through television by playing the role of one of the leading five characters in Ard Khas by Hadi El Bagoury، which initiated her success and was followed by her participation in several films including; Ahmed Helmy's X-Large، Wahed Saheh، Al Maslaha and Taraf Talet، which won Yasmin her role in Mohamed Khan's Factory Girl، marking her breakthrough in cinema.
Afterwards، Raeis collaborated with comedian Ahmed Helmy once again in Amr Salama's Made in Egypt before setting to star in a string of films including; Men Dahr Ragel، opposite Asser Yassin، Hepta: The Last Lecture، which topped the Egyptian box office with revenues that surpassed EGP 27 million، becoming the highest-grossing romantic film in the history of Egyptian cinema، One Week، Two Days، a coming-of-age short film that participated in the 2017 Cairo International Women's Film Festival (CIWFF) and recently Kiss Me Not، written and directed by Ahmed Amer، which is set to be released in theaters soon.
Born to a Palestinian father and an Egyptian mother، Yasmin is married to director Hadi El Bagoury، with whom she has previously collaborated in the TV drama Ard Khas and cinema hit Wahed Saheh.
