Noteworthy، Alexandria is a Mediterranean port city in Egypt. During the Hellenistic period، it was home to a lighthouse ranking among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World as well as a storied library.
Today the library is reincarnated in the disc-shaped، ultramodern Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The city also has Greco-Roman landmarks، old-world cafes and sandy beaches. Its 15th-century seafront Qaitbay Citadel is now a museum.
Noteworthy، with the small exception of its strip of Mediterranean coastline، the whole of Egypt has an arid desert climate، according to weather and climate website.
Throughout Egypt، days are commonly warm or hot، and nights are cool.
Egypt has only two seasons: a mild winter from November to April and a hot summer from May to October.
Egypt receives fewer than eighty millimeters of precipitation annually in most areas.
Most rain falls along the coast، but even the wettest area (around Alexandria)، receives only about 200 millimeters of precipitation per year.
The best time to travel to Egypt is during the winter، between December and February، when temperatures range between 20 to 26 degrees Celsius (68 to 79 degrees Fahrenheit).
