Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that his country's army would start a military operation East of Euphrates in a couple of days، as military operations continue between Syria's democratic forces and ISIS.
"We will start our operation east of the Euphrates in a couple of days. We insist on making this area safe and liveable،" Erdogan was quoted as saying by TRT news channel.
"There is a strong possibility of constructive cooperation with the United States، and we are not targeting US soldiers at all،" he said.
The US-led coalition continued its raids on eastern Euphrates، where its aircraft "mistakenly" bombed positions of the Syrian Democratic forces it supported، injuring 15.
