The Public Authority of Controlling Imports and Exports، has released a statement today، says that Egypt’s exports of agricultural commodities hit $1.894 billion in the first ten months of the current year. The report revealed that sum is compared with $ 1.874 in the same period of the previous year. Those exports were diminished by some 4%. However، they represent 8.7% of Egypt’s non-petroleum exports. The report pointed out that those agricultural exports reduced in October 2018 by 25%. They worth only $ 100 million. This compared with $ 133 million in October 2017. On his party. Abdel Hamid El Demerdash، Head of the Exporting Council of the Agricultural Commodities، attributed decrease of the Egyptian agricultural exports to banning of some Arab states to import those goods from Egypt.
