Environment Minister Yasmin Fouad thanked president Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi for attending the 14th International Biodiversity Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh. President Sisi is interested in international movement and openness to all countries of the world and environmental diversity، Fouad said pointing out that the government seeks to host such forums and conferences، in addition to the World Youth Forum. President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi inaugurated this morning the 14th International Biodiversity Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh. Egypt is the first Arab and African country to host this event، which is one of the largest international conferences of the United Nations in the conservation of biological diversity and environment، it represents an important platform for enhancing cooperation and humanitarian participation among the peoples of the world to increase awareness of the importance of biodiversity. The conference reflects the state's interest in the issues of sustainable development and thus contributes to attracting more foreign investments to Egypt in order to preserve the environment، support tourism and preserve the Egyptian nature reserves which occupy about 15%.
