General Mohamed Zaki، Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces، Minister of Defense and Military Production held a meeting on Thursday with Mohamed Diane، Minister of state to Guinea Republic in charge of national defense and his accompanying delegation، who is currently visiting Egypt.
The two ministers held an extended meeting to discuss the most recent developments on both the regional and international arenas and coordinate efforts to face common challenges and consolidate principles of security and stability in the region.
The two sides also signed a protocol on military cooperation to contribute to the transfer and exchange of experiences in many fields between the armed forces of both countries.
The Egyptian Minister expressed his hope that the next phase will see more cooperation and coordination in various military fields.
For his part، Dr. Mohammad Dian stressed his country's keenness to support military relations with Egypt during the coming period.
The meeting was attended by a number of commanders of the Armed Forces and the Guinean ambassador in Cairo.
