Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr. Sahar Nasr said on Thursday that Egypt has a key and pioneering role in entrepreneurship.
She added، “We، therefore، welcome the cooperation with African countries in this regard in order to reach a link among entrepreneurs in the African continent to achieve the common interest of Africa.
During her speech at the fourth Egypt Entrepreneurship Summit (EES) on Thursday، Nasr added that President Al-Sisi directed to pay much attention to the regulatory framework especially for the development of medium and micro enterprises.
Nasr pointed out that the Investment and International Cooperation Ministry is always keen to achieve financial inclusion for both the banking sector and the non-banking sector.
The Egypt Entrepreneurship Summit (EES) 2018 marks the fourth year of the EES. Since its inception in 2015، it has grown substantially in size and scope. The EES will be the highlight of Egypt’s Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) celebrations in 2018. The GEW is an initiative of the Global Entrepreneurship Network، during which events and competitions will showcase the potential of entrepreneurship in 170 countries around the globe.
