Al Ahly head coach Patrice Carteron expressed his optimism ahead of his side’s clash against Esperance in CAF Champions League decisive final.
“We’re well prepared for the game and focused on snatching the cup in Tunisia،” Carteron told the press on Wednesday. “We have the needed solutions to compensate for the absences we’re currently facing. For example، Mohamed Hany can replace injured Ahmed Fathi.”
ES Tunis will host the Reds at Stade Olympique de Radès next Friday، November 9.

Al-Ahly achieved a 3-1 victory against Esperance Sportive in the first leg of the CAF Champions league’s final.

The first-leg witnessed controversial actions from the Algerian referee، Mehdi Abid، as he gave three penalties (two for Al-Ahly and one for ES Tunis) through VAR.

A delegation of Confederation African Football (CAF) attended the first training session of Al Ahly Club at Rades stadium in Tunisia on Tuesday.

Al Ahly’s mission arrived in Tunisia yesterday’s morning after a three-hour flight.
