Elissa’ music video “Ila Kol Elli Bihebbouni”، which also holds the title of her new album، had exploded a surprise upon release.
The music video unleashed a secret in the Lebanese recording artist life that she kept away from her fans، which were that the Lebanese artist battled breast cancer two years ago.
The video sparked a major buzz after her battle with breast cancer was revealed، which she has recovered from it for some time.
The tweet read: “This music video shouldn’t make you cry. It’s a reason to smile، be happy، and grateful. We can fight cancer if we know about it in early stages. I love you all ❤”
Elissa، 45، had used a voice piece with her real voice to describe to details of her illness while she cries، and videos of her chemotherapy sessions.
Elissa's new album achieved more than 1 million hits on Rotana's channel 12 hours after the debut.
Ila Kol Elli Bihebbouni is by the lyrics of Shady Noor and composed by Mohamad Yahia.
The album also topped Twitter's most trending list in Jordan and the UAE، as twitter users hashtags "#Elissa_Album_2018"، and flooded the social network with parts of the album songs.
Elissa، 45، had recorded the songs in Egyptian and Lebanese dialects، including singer-actress Warda Al-Jazairia’s song "Wahashtony".
In the new album، she cooperates with a large number of Poets and composers including Amir Teima، Ramy Gamal، Nader Abdallah، and Walid Said، which includes 16 songs.
Elissa announced back in 2017 a new album after two years from releasing album "Saharna Ya Leil".
