Russia sends Emirati aeronaut to international space station

Head of Russia Space Agency ( Roscosmos )، Dmitri Ruguzyn، has announced that the Russian agency has contracts the space agency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to send a UAE aeronaut to the international space station.
The UAE will board a Russian space sgip named “Soyuz”.
The Russian official went on to say that Soyuz will take off a space base in Uzbekistan in central Asia.
The Soyuz programme meaning "Union") is a human spaceflight programme that was initiated by the Soviet Union in the early 1960s.
It was originally part of a Moon landing project intended to put a Soviet cosmonaut on the Moon.
It was the third Soviet human spaceflight program after the Vostok and Voskhod program
The program consists of the Soyuz spacecraft and the Soyuz rocket and is now the responsibility of the Russian Roscosmos. Since the retirement of the Space Shuttle in 2011،.
