Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters arrived in Cairo on Monday at the start of visit to promote tourism and support charity work in Egypt، with trips to Alexandria and Luxor on the itinerary. Nel-Peters is a South African model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2017. She previously was crowned Miss South Africa 2017، and is the second Miss Universe winner from South Africa، following Margaret Gardiner who was crowned Miss Universe 1978. The Western Cape beauty holds a bachelors degree in business management.
