Dr Khalid El Enany، Minister of Antiquities، has approved of transferring Tut Ankh Amun’s collection from the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir district to the Grand Egyptian Museum next the Great Pyramid، south to Giza. The transferred artifacts will go under restoration by specialized experts. However، the main dazzling pieces will remain in the Egyptian Museum until 2020. Dr El Enany met today with a host of senior experts in the Ancient Egyptian history. Among the pieced that will be transferred to the GEM is the royal parasol، feather fan and the royal wreath. Sabah Abdel Raziq، Manager of the Egyptian Museum، said that plan of developing the museum will be completed by November 15.
